Lupine Land Use Planning was founded in 2021 by Kirsten Larsen, AICP, with a mission to help property owners and developers navigate the permitting processes associated with land development and historic preservation.
This mission is supported by a decade worth of experience in working for and with local governments on a range of land use projects that include residential, commercial, industrial, shoreline, and historic preservation.

Kirsten has a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University and a Master's certificate in Transportation Systems planning. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Her educational background provides a balanced approach to planning that considers the economic impacts of decisions.
She lives in the Wenatchee Valley with her husband where they are raising their two boys. As a family they enjoy the many recreational opportunities provided from living along the Columbia River and at the eastern base of the Cascade Mountains.
